For those of you who know me I am a HUGE fan of smoothies for breakfast in the morning, mostly because I would rather sleep in as long as I possibly can then wake up early to make myself breakfast. Buying smoothies from places like Booster Juice is just not an option for me considering how much sugar is actually in those smoothies compared to real nutrients. Over the past few months this smoothie recipe has been a staple in my diet and promises to keep you satiated for a few hours (at least until morning snack time).
1 Cup Almond Milk
1 Frozen Banana (slice them up & freeze them at the beginning of the week to have them readily available)
2 Table Spoons Hemp Hearts
1 Table Spoon Almond Butter
3 Pitted Dates
4 Ice Cubes (more if you like your smoothie thicker)
1 Scoop Protein Powder (optional)
**if you are like me and like smoothies more like juice try adding more almond mil**
Blend & Enjoy!
